A joint venture between Rolls-Royce and SIA Engineering Company, Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) stands as one of the world’s largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities for Rolls-Royce Trent engines. Currently, approximately 25% of the world’s Rolls-Royce Trent engines pass through SAESL, propelling aircraft such as the Airbus A330, A350, and A380, as well as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Since its establishment in 2001, SAESL has become an indispensable component of the Singapore aerospace ecosystem, catering to airline customers across six continents. In line with our commitment to innovation and meeting growing demand, we are thrilled to announce a major investment of US$180 million to expand our facilities and integrate advanced technologies. This strategic move will increase our capacity by 40% and position us to capture the burgeoning engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) demand in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. This investment underscores our dedication to providing top-tier services to our global clientele while contributing to the continued success of the aerospace industry.
