We take oil further to bring value to customers and the world we live in. Naphthenic specialty products Nynas produces naphthenic specialty products in four main segments. Insulating oil is mainly used to insulate and cool transformers, process oils are predominantly used in rubber, adhesives and printing ink, while base oils are suitable for e.g. metalworking fluids and other industrial lubricants as well as tyre oils. Bitumen products Bitumen is mainly used as a binding agent in asphalt.
