Stars and Stripes Honor Flights is an organization that provides paid trips to Washington D.C. for WWII and Korean War veterans to visit their memorials. The organization relies on volunteer guardians, aged 18-64, to accompany the veterans on the trip. In exchange for their service, guardians pay a $500 fee.
