The UNSW-Eastern Suburbs AFC was formed following the 1999/2000 merger of East Sydney Football Club and the University of New South Wales. The East Sydney Bulldogs Football Club's history dating back to 1880, making it one of the oldest Australian Football Clubs, of any code, in the country.
