The Adult Literacy Tutors Association (ALTA) is a registered charity based in Trinidad and Tobago. ALTA has been in existence since 1992, providing the only comprehensive, structured, adult literacy programme to persons over 16 years old, through a cadre of over 300 trained volunteers.
