Founded in July 2019 in Singapore with the intention to create a Fossil Fuel Free Future for power generation. We believe that urgent action is required to combat climate change in order to allow future generations to have a habitable environment. We believe that an effective method is to reduce industrial emissions. Today approximately 55% of the global energy sources are still fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas. We aim to replace such sources because these types of power plants emit large quantities of carbon emissions which are harmful to the environment. Wind, Solar and Hydro Power make up the majority of renewable sources however they lack the consistent or sufficient base capacity to replace fossil fuels due to their inability to provide a reliable energy source throughout the day or season. Many researchers have developed new techniques or technologies to extend their capacities however there is still insufficient base load to effectively replace fossil fuels. At UNCHARTED POWER, we believe that Geothermal Energy is the answer. There is strong potential that it’s available in many countries and regions throughout the world and it has the base load to replace fossil fuels via tapping Earth’s heat. We intend to develop Geothermal Energy through; researching new and/or improve existing technologies to improve efficiency of exploitation and exploration and; development of power plants to make progress for climate change. We are fortunate to have like-minded friends in Korea, China and Holland who we will collaborate to realize our mission. We are working to drive more industrial renewable energy solutions in Asia and reduce carbon emissions for power generation for a cleaner and better future.
