When we started Synergy years ago, it was out of a burden from seeing people being confused from having to choose one engine oil, out of thousands of lubricant brands and products. The confusion is compounded by the lack of technical knowledge needed to cut through the clutter of technical jargon, used to differentiate each product. In their confusion, unfortunately, many choose to pay a premium for name brand products, relying on their familiarity as a brand rather than what the oil actually does. Seeking to give consumers the power of choice, we adopted a synergistic approach to provide both (a) products optimized for each market's needs; and (b) education that equips consumers with technical know-how. Today, we are encouraged to see that our efforts are making an impact in markets such as Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan and even as far as Honduras.
