SHIP is a technology transfer office that supports SingHealth's clinicians and researchers in translating their innovations into commercial opportunities to enhance patient care and advance healthcare outcomes.

The SingHealth Duke-NUS Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Institute (AIMI) is a Joint Institute represented by SingHealth AI Office and Duke-NUS AI + Medical Sciences Initiative (DAISI). We bring together the Data Science and AI capabilities from the hospital system and the university system, locally and internationally, providing clinicians and AI scientists ease of access to each other's expertise and opening up eligibility to additional funding resources. Our objective is to create a world-class AI and digitally-enabled academic medical centre, focusing on conducting upstream AI reserach and development, promoting safe and responsible use of AI, driving commercial partnerships to encourage the translation of commercialisation of developed technologies, and supporting AI and data education to create next generations of AI and digitally literate healthcare professionals.
