Singapore Bora Petroleum Pte Ltd is a global trader of crude oil and liquified petroleum gas. It was incorporated in 2012 and serves as an offshore trading arm as well as an international investment and financing hub for Bora Group. In FY 2019, it had a revenue of over USD 5.6 billion. Founded in 2003, Bora Group is a modern enterprise group which integrates petrochemical, logistics and transportation, and energy trade. The Group has close to RMB 100 billion worth of assets and over 6,000 employees worldwide. The Group’s largest refinery, Panjin Northern Asphalt Fuel Co., Ltd., had revenue exceeding RMB 69 billion for FY 2019 and has a quota of 7 million tons per year for non-state own crude oil trade. It ranks 299th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises. In 2019, Bora Group entered into a joint venture with LyondellBasell, a leading plastic, chemical and refining company in the world, to invest in the construction of Bora LyondellBasell Petrochemical Co. Ltd. With an annual capacity of 1.1 million tons for ethylene cracking and associated polyolefin derivatives, it is one of the largest petrochemical plants in China.
