The company was set up with the primary objectives to provide ship-brokerage, freighting solutions and consultancy services for transportation of palm oil products and liquid chemicals in bulk. Being right in the heart of South East Asia surrounded by vast investment and production of both palm oil and petrochemical products, it was only natural that Prime Shipbrokers core business is based on these two very key cargo activities. Our team bring along many years of experience ranging from ship owning and operating in both the vegetable oil and chemical tanker trades as well as many decades of shipbroking in palm oil and clean petroleum products. Covering extensively palm oil and also clean petroleum products, Prime’s present activities are focused on both spot fixtures and contracts for shipments mainly within South East Asia and East of Suez up to China, Japan and South Korea. Among our close customers are various ship owners/operators and charterers who are based and located not only in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other Asian countries like China, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam but also in the Middle East and EU. In Prime, our strong operations & chartering experience and positive attitude to service our clients are the main attributes behind the Company’s commitment to provide our customers valuable and outstanding services at all times. With the twin objectives of providing wider market coverage and enhancing customer service, PSB SHIPPING SDN BHD was established in Kuala Lumpur as a fully owned subsidiary company of Prime Shipbrokers Pte Ltd in March 2018. Today, the Group consists of 12 members with 9 sitting in Singapore and another 3 based in Kuala Lumpur.
