Muddy Murphy Holdings opened its first pub, Muddy Murphy’s in April 1996. This authentic environment was specially crafted to provide both locals and expatriates a place they can call home. The outlet was an instant hit and today it has evolved to be a solid institution as one of Singapore’s leading pub industry icons. From the very beginning, the company had a strong vision of developing authentic outlets. Muddy Murphy's and The Penny Black, its second pub was designed and fabricated to scale in Ireland and England respectively. The entire pub was then expertly shipped and re-assembled by specialist foreign pub fitters in Singapore. The company has also added two Australian themed pubs, Prince of Wales (one located in Boat Quay and the other one located in Little India, both of which has ceased operations), and The Manhattan Pizza Co., making it a total of four brands in its portfolio.
