Stamford Law Corporation, Singapore's premier full-service legal firm, will integrate with Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, the largest law firm in the United States of America, and one of the top five firms globally. This ground breaking integration is the first full internationalisation of a Singapore law firm and establishes Stamford Law as a key Asia region hub of an established global legal powerhouse. Effective April 1, the combined practice, to be named Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, will serve as the centre for the global firm's Asia practice. All the directors of Stamford Law will be admitted as partners of the single Morgan Lewis global partnership. The combined practice of Stamford Law and Morgan Lewis, unprecedented in extent and structure, represents a true integration between a Singapore-based premier law practice with an established and entrenched presence in the Asia region and a global legal powerhouse with global presence, reach and clients. Stamford Law will integrate fully with the other 28 Morgan Lewis offices globally to provide all their clients with international legal services and support, and will help lead the further expansion into the Asia region.
