Our journey began in 2020, with nothing more than a single stall and a grand vision. Fast-forward to today, we’ve grown into a family of 10 cherished outlets. Our passion to create value and meaningful food experiences pushed us to redefine how people perceive and enjoy Japanese food. Since our establishment in 2020, our family of 10 popular Mentai-Ya outlets, including the Chirashi-Ai Café in Beauty World and the unique pet-friendly Coffee & Chirashi Café in Choa Chu Kang, have come to redefine quality Japanese dining at affordable prices across Singapore. Each location provides a unique spin on the classic Japanese Mentaiko Rice Bowls. At Mentai-Ya, we believe that great food doesn’t need to come with a hefty price tag. Our Coffee & Chirashi Café, tucked away amidst Choa Chu Kang's lush greenery, offers customers an experience of Japanese cuisine with ice cream and waffles at unbeatable prices, with the added bonus of being able to bring along their pets. Are we cutting corners? Absolutely not! We believe in giving our customers the best, which is why we use restaurant quality ingredients in all of our dishes, despite the higher costs.
