Interorient Navigation Company Limited Established in 1979, the Interorient group is active in a wide range of shipping activities including ship owning, ship management, fund management, investments and port operations. The Company owns a fleet of product tankers and bulk carriers directly and through its Interorient Shipping Fund and joint ventures. Interorient has been a pioneer in setting up commercial management pools allowing it to employ its managed vessels more efficiently and achieving earnings that consistently outperform the market. It has a dedicated chartering team with the necessary experience and expertise in monitoring vessels trading and compliance with the changing environmental regulations. PLC Incorporated in Cyprus in 2020 as an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), the Interorient Fund is authorised and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. The Interorient Fund was set up to offer investors attractive annual dividend yield and capital gains from asset value appreciation and trading of the vessels through transactions that are typically only available to big investment firms. The Fund closed five transactions during 2021 to 2024 by acquiring three product tankers and eight bulk carriers. InterMaritime Shipmanagement Ltd Interorient provides the full spectrum of ship management services through InterMaritime Shipmanagement, formed through the merger of Interorient Shipmanagement and Intership Navigation. InterMaritime has a presence in 10 countries and currently manages around 170 vessels and employs around 200 shore-based employees and over 5,000 seafarers. The fleet includes tankers of all types, gas carriers, bulkers of all sizes, containerships, multipurpose ships and various other specialised tonnage. The company also provides newbuilding services from initial design to final delivery of vessel.
