GrooveTop is a multi-genre pop-up party series based in Singapore that brings a diverse crowd together through the love of music, great drinks and a damn good time. At the heart of GrooveTop is the desire to create a sense of community, centred around our shared love for the dance floor. We collaborate with our favourite bars, restaurants and music venues in Singapore to throw parties that celebrate funky and soulful sounds in a friendly and intimate setting; where the focus is the dance floor - but you can still connect with friends and make new ones.xa0 Our music philosophy is - as long as it’s funky and it’s got soul - we want to play it. The music ranges from Funk, Soul, R&B, Hip Hop, Afro, UKG and Disco to House and everything in between.xa0 Each event is carefully curated - from the music direction, the DJs, to the venue, menu and overall experience. Depending on the party, the focus of the night can change, keeping things fresh and a little different every time. GrooveTop has hosted some of the best DJs Singapore has to offer and multiple talents from around the region including Stalvart John (Dynamite Disco Club, IN), Butta B, St Vincent & The Grenadines, ManilaJunkie, Margáchi (MNL), Roshan (SaturdaySelects, MY), Cristal No.5, DAFFABEDAMNED, Fakkta, Andre (Bali) and Maggie Tra (SYS Sister Sounds, Hanoi Community Radio, AUS/VN). GrooveTop has also played host to international acts such as S!RENE (NL), Tatoun (FR), Yasmin (MX) and Mi Ki Mak (UK). GrooveTop is led by a team of two - Sophie Wee and Amanda Scully - with over 12 years of experience in the nightlife, music and events industry, not to mention countless hours spent on the dance floor. ????
