Genashtim was founded in 2008 with the purpose of providing sustainable, meaningful, and gainful employment for the disadvantaged, especially for those from the less-developed economies. In creating a workplace that is inclusive and accessible, especially for those with disabilities, we had to develop a 100% work-from-home model. This also led us to build a totally digitalized operation, focussing on eLearning.
In 2015, Genashtim was the second company to be certified as a B Corp in Southeast Asia. Since then, Genashtim has been consistently regarded as “Best for the World” amongst B Corp members every year. Our organisation in Malaysia, Genashtim Sdn Bhd was also hailed as “Best for the World 2021”, making us probably the first business anywhere with two independently B Corp certified Best-for-the-World companies.
Genashtim is the channel partner for eCornell, Cornell University’s external education unit, which provides online professional and executive development to students around the world.
Genashtim Pte Ltd is now part of Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub.
