ECZEMA AND ALLERGY SUPPORT FOUNDATION LIMITED

SPEAK is a patient-led startup non profit organization in Singapore championing the psychosocial needs of allergy and eczema patients (caregivers too). We work together with medical doctors to complement their treatment plans by providing emotional support and practical tips for day to day living that improves the lives of both allergic and eczema patients and their families. We’ve built an encouraging eco system of support by facilitating positive sharing among families struggling with these complex diseases. We filter out unhelpful dubious information found online, and guide members to rely on evidence based information. we help build stronger trust between families and their doctors by teaching them what questions to ask and how best to follow up with their doctors. In doing so, we help people get more accurate diagnosis and better treatment outcomes. Our work centres on raising the general awareness of the burden of disease and foster better communication between patients, caregivers, doctors, Teachers, corporates etc.
