We do business differently to give you better sight for a better life! Eagle Eye Laser Centre came to life in 2010 due to increased demand for ‘LASIK’; a refractive surgery with a permanent effect. The forward-thinking, innovative attitude of HECS Holdings is designed to offer professional, efficient optical service on a more friendly level, and hence the idea of offering LASIK services in Kenya fitted well with the general approach to providing health care solutions in Kenya. Using the most modern and advanced technology for eye surgeries in the East and Central African region, the doctors are confident they can serve many people that suffer from long-term eye conditions whilst achieving freedom from their glasses or contact lenses. For this new solution, HECS Holdings decided to collaborate with a well-known German eye-clinic, Augenlaserzentrum Neu-Ulm, headed by Dr. med. Harald Gaeckle. Thanks to a fruitful, ongoing cooperation, on 1st of October 2010 HECS Holdings opened the doors of the Eagle Eye Laser Centre to offer various refractive eye procedures (LASIK, surface ablation, multifocal IOL), other eye surgeries including cataract and squint surgeries as well as a broad range of eye diagnostic services.
