Northern Offshore, Ltd. (Northern Offshore) is an offshore oil and gas drilling company founded in July 2000. In August 2015, it became a subsidiary of Shandong Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd. After merging with Blue Ocean Drilling, a affiliate of its parent companies, Northern Offshore is now building a next-generation fleet of premier jackup rigs while also constructing a next-generation company focused on customer collaboration and state-of-the-art solutions for greater productivity and efficiency. With a strong QHSE-driven management team and extensive global operational experience, Northern Offshore possesses a value-driven approach to reduce overall well costs. The company's current fleet consists of two managed offshore drilling rigs, one floating production unit, and six high-specification jackup rigs scheduled for delivery from 2018 through 2020.
