Barrier Lubrication Technology Private Limited (BLT) is the distributor for Advanced Lubrication Technology Inc (ALT). Barrier Lubrication Technology was formed in 2016 to address the needs of wider international markets directly.
Headquartered in Singapore, we operate a distribution, consultation and sales network for the award winning unique technology Boron-CLS-Bond® and the associated brands that carry it, MotorSilk® and LubriSilk®.
BLT works closely with ALT’s principal chemists to find the best applications of the Boron-CLS-Bond® technology to provide solutions to our clients unique problems, and where required to customize and innovate with new blends and products for specialized treatments.
About Boron-CLS-Bond®
Boron-CLS-Bond® is a patented biodegradable lubrication technology designed for the latest mechanical advances in precision engineering. The technology platform was originally discovered and patented by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory of Argonne, Illinois, operated by the University of Chicago, as part of the NASA program. In 1991 it was awarded the prestigious R&D 100 award for top discovery by Argonne Labs, and again in 1996 for top new product with the Boron-CLS-Bond® technology.
Carbon Credits and Reduction of Emissions
In 2011, Kansas City Regional Clean Cities verified that MotorSilk® Engine Treatment is ISO 14064 process conformant and complies with international standards to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, qualifying for the GHG Clean Projects Registry and lending eligibility to users for international Carbon Credits.
Fuel savings and emission reductions are based upon specifications determined by the Canadian Standards Association (www.csagroup.org) certified validator for MotorSilk® ISO 14094-2 mobile emission reduction and removal project. MotorSilk® has been entered on the CSA “Clean Projects Registry”.
